Corofin Heads to the 2025 One Act Festivals!
🎠Back on the Road Again!
After an exciting run of local performances and extra shows, Corofin Dramatic Society is delighted to hit the road once again for the One Act Drama Festivals 2025!
We’re incredibly proud to present “Contradictions”, a powerful original work written and directed by our own Neil Haran. The play explores the tensions, humour, and heartfelt moments that arise when ideals meet reality — a story that’s both deeply local and universally human.
This production features a stellar cast:
- Dave Hanley
- Alan Maguire
- Alfie Kent
Together, they bring Neil’s words to life with honesty, wit, and passion — a combination that has already captivated audiences in our recent performances at home and at Hotel Doolin.

We’re thrilled to be performing “Contradictions” at the following One Act Festival venues:
- 31 October — Dundrum
- 1 November — Naas
- 7 November — Castleblayney
- 10 November — Doonbeg
- 16 November — Manorhamilton
Each stop on this journey is a chance to share our story with new audiences and connect with the wider Irish drama community. We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and making new friends along the way.
