Keane's wonderful creation of a rural Irish matriarch ranks with Juno, Mommo and Molly Bloom as one of the great female creations of twentieth-century Irish literature. Corofin Dramatic Society bring this amazing play to life as part of the 2018 All Ireland Drama festival 2018 and will hit the stage on 30 October 2017. Coming to Glor, Ennis early 2018

Founded in 1950, Corofin Dramatic Society has competed regularly on the three-act and one-act festivals, picking up numerous acting, production, set design awards down through the years. In 2017 we qualified for the All Ireland Drama Finals with our production of "The Cripple of Inishmaan", walking away awards for acting and set as well as numerous nominations.
