by Catherine Hayes
Produced by John Clancy
Skirmishes by Catherine Hayes is a stark and visceral study of the relationship between a dying woman and her two embittered and resentful daughters. It is full of dark humour yet is honest about sisterhood with great respect for characters and thus, audience. A must see for anyone, male or female, who has cared for the elderly or who might have to care for a parent in the future.
Corofin Dramatic Society are proud to bring this powerful play to the 2020 All Ireland Drama festival at venues around Ireland.
Founded in 1950, Corofin Dramatic Society has competed regularly on the three-act and one-act festivals, picking up numerous acting, production, set design awards down through the years.
In 2017 we qualified for the All Ireland Drama Finals with our production of "The Cripple of Inishmaan", walking away awards for acting and set as well as numerous nominations.
