The problems arise when her vision of the future begins to sit on the shoulders of her surly offspring. John B. Keane's wonderful creation of a rural Irish matriarch ranks with Juno, Mommo and Molly Bloom as one of the great female creations of twentieth-century Irish literature. Corofin Dramatic Society has brought this amazing play to life as part of the 2018 All Ireland Drama festival 2018 at venues around Ireland, scooping many awards for acting and production, earning a place in the All Ireland Drama Finals on May 7th. Corofin Dramatic Society were delighted to qualify for the All Ireland Drama Finals. Congratulations to the 8 groups who will join us at the RTE All Ireland Open Finals in Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone 4 -12 May:

OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1950, Corofin Dramatic Society has competed regularly on the three-act and one-act festivals, picking up numerous acting, production, set design awards down through the years. In 2017 we qualified for the All Ireland Drama Finals with our production of "The Cripple of Inishmaan", walking away awards for acting and set as well as numerous nominations.
